Supermama is a Singaporean design and lifestyle goods brand. Founded in 2010, the store seeks to provide a museum-like respite to the busyness of urban life. It is popular for their white and cobalt blue porcelain plates that are designed in Singapore and made in Arita, Japan. Their porcelain plate collections feature Singapore icons, such as HDB blocks, kebaya prints and architectural buildings.
During my internship there, I was given a chance to create an artwork for their upcoming Jewel Changi Exclusive porcelain plate.
